There is no doubt that God answers prayers. Whenever we pray, He hears us. He is always attentive to our prayers. He wants us to pray always. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing.” God has promised to answer us whenever we pray. He says, “Call upon me in the time of trouble, and I will answer you” (see Psalms 50:15). Consider any matter you bring before God in prayer a done deal because He answers prayers. Matthew 21:22 says, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” Prayer is the key that opens the door to God’s blessings. Do not be tired of praying.
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 says, “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” If there are people on earth to pray, there is a God in heaven who is willing to answer. Prayer is all you need to turn your situation around for the better. Jesus says, “Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:24).
Whenever you pray to God, do not doubt if you want Him to answer you. 1 Timothy 2:8 says, “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” Even though God answers prayers, He doesn’t answer the prayers of sinners. Isaiah 59:1-2 says, “Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” The only prayer of a sinner that God will answer is the prayer of repentance. If you want God to always answer your prayers, make sure you are in the right standing with Him.
