There are a lot of deception going on in the world today. There is no doubt that so many people have been decieved into hell by those agents of the devil parading themselves as servants of the Lord.
Beloved, do not allow anybody to deceive you that once you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you can live in sin and still be qualified to go to heaven on the last day. This is deception from the pit of hell meant to deceive gullible Christians who do not read their Bibles.
The truth that the enemies of the gospel do not want you to know is that no unrepentant sinner will go to heaven. 1 Conrinthians 6: 9- 10 says, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” See also Galatians 5: 19- 21; Revelation 21: 8
The sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary is not a license for anyone to continue to live in sin. When you come to Christ, you must give up your old life of sin in exchange for the new life which He gives to those who believe in Him (See 1 Conrinthians 5:17).
That you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour is not enough. 1 John 3:6 says, “Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.” The moment you give your life to Christ, you are no longer expected to continue living in sin (See Ephesians 5: 1- 5; Hebrews 12: 14). Romans 6:1-2 says, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”
The greatest deception is when you know you are living in sin and you are claiming to be a child of God. 2 Timothy 2:19 says, “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” If you are living in sin, repent and give your life to Jesus Christ before it is too late.
