Words are powerful. Your words impact your life one way or the other. Whatever you confess with your mouth is what you get in return. Galatians 6:7 says you reap what you sow. It is as simple as ABCD: if you sow negative words, you will reap a negative result. Learn to speak positive words regardless of your situation.
Caleb and Joshua entered the promised land because they confessed positively. God deals with us according to our faith and confessions. In Numbers 14:28, God said, “As ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.” Be careful not to make negative confessions before God. Many of the Israelites who came out of Egypt did not get to the promised land due to unbelief and negative confessions.
Take the Shunammite woman, for instance (2 Kings 4:17-33). She was barren, but when God promised her a son, she received him. Later, the child died, but she didn’t lose faith. She told her husband, “It is well” (2 Kings 4:23), and went to Elisha for help. God brought her son back to life due to her positive confession and faith!
Dear reader, always confess positively. Instead of negative confessions, say:
- It is well
- I shall overcome
- I will not die
- I am a winner
- God will help me
The more you confess positively, the more you see God’s goodness! May God give you the grace to always be positive, in Jesus’ name.
