By Evang. Joachim P. Erameh

Many people do evil because they think nobody sees their secret actions. But they’ve forgotten that God, who formed the eye, sees everything. Psalms 94:9b says, “He that formed the eye, shall he not see?” Nothing is hidden from God.

King David thought he could keep his sin secret when he conspired against Uriah and took his wife. But God sent prophet Nathan to confront him, saying, “You did it secretly, but I will punish you publicly” (2 Samuel 11-12). Similarly, Ahab and Jezebel thought they’d covered up their evil against Naboth, but God knew (1 Kings 21:1-25).

The truth is, no matter how clever you are, you can’t outsmart God. He sees and knows everything, including your cover-ups. Daniel 2:22 says, “He reveals the deep and secret things: he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.”

It’s foolish to think God doesn’t see secret sins. The Bible says every hidden secret shall be revealed, and the sinners punished on the last day (Luke 8:17). So, dear reader, be wise: come out from shady practices and sin. Repent and surrender to Jesus before it’s too late.
