In Romans 8:31, the Bible says, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” If God is for you, nobody can be against you. Anyone against a child of God is indirectly against God. If nobody can fight God and win, then no one can fight a real child of God and win.
King Saul couldn’t kill David because God protected him. Pharaoh’s army couldn’t harm Israel because God fought for them. Balaam couldn’t curse Israel because God blessed them. Isaiah 41:11 says, “Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed… they that strive with thee shall perish.” Every genuine child of God has divine covering.
God watches over His children to defend and deliver them. Psalm 91:9-10 says, “Because thou hast made the LORD… thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee…” If you’re a child of God, don’t worry about enemies. God says He neither sleeps nor slumbers (Psalms 121:4). Isaiah 59:19 says, “When the enemy comes like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD lifts a standard against him.”
Dear reader, if you’re living in sin, God isn’t for you. You can’t enjoy divine protection till you repent and surrender to Jesus Christ. Sin separates us from God and exposes us to danger. If you want God to be for you, be for God.
