This is a true life story. It actually happened to me the narrator. Several years ago, when I was  growing up as a young man, I traveled with a couple in their car to a nearby town to our village. On our way back, we had an accident that nearly claimed my life. It happened that the driver of the car who was also the owner, completely lost control of the steering as we were returning from our journey. Consequently, the car somersaulted and crashed by the roadside.

We were descending a slope when the accident occured. The luck we had was that no vehicle was coming from the opposite direction at the time of the accident; otherwise, it could have been worse.

The point which am trying to bring out of this story is that, I narrowly escaped hell. In fact, it was a very narrow escape. At that time, I was not born again. If I had died in that accident, I would have gone to hell. But God in His infinite mercy spared my life and did not allow me to perish. To cut the story short, the three of us in the car came out unscathed. All glory to Jesus Christ.

This incident happened when I was in secondary school. I gave my life to Christ after my graduation from the university. I did not realize what God did for me by sparing my life in that accident, until I gave my life to Christ. God gave me a second chance to repent of my sins. By this tract, God may also be giving someone a second chance  to repent of his or her sins.

Dear reader of this tract, you are privileged to read my story today because am alive to tell it. Did you know that some people who would have loved to tell their own stories did not live to do so? Did you know that some sinners have died without having a second chance to repent? Hebrews 2: 3- 4 says, “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonder; and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?” Luke 13: 3 says, “I tell ye nay, but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

If you are living in sin, repent and surrender your life to Jesus Christ before it is too late. Pray the following prayer and believe in your heart that your sins have been forgiven: Heavenly Father, please, have mercy upon me a sinner. Pardon me for all my sins and write my name in the book of life. Lord Jesus, come into my life and be my Saviour now and forever (Amen).

If you have prayed the above prayer of repentance, take the following necessary steps:
1. Look for a Bible believing Church close to your residence, to be attending (Hebrews 10: 25).
2. Live a holy life (Hebrews 12: 14).
3. Study the word of God daily (2 Timothy 2: 15).
4. Be prayerful (1 Thessalonians 5: 17).
5. Be heavenly minded (Colossians 3: 2).
