Repentance is the total turning away from sin unto God. Repentance is a must for any sinner who wants to go to heaven on the last day. Luke 13: 3 says, “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

Without repentance, there is no forgiveness of sin.
Repentance and faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ is all that is needed to be saved. The type of repentance that brings salvation is genuine repentance..2 Corinthians 7 : 10 says, “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”

God wants every sinner to repent now. 2 Peter 3: 9 says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

The right time to repent of our sins is now, tomorrow may be too late.2 Corinthians 6 : 2 says, “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)”

Dear reader of this tract, do not take the mercy of God for granted.
Apart from being merciful, God is also a consuming fire (See Hebrews 12: 25- 29). If you are living in sin, repent forthwith and surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ before it is too late.

Pray the following prayer and believe in your heart that your sins have been forgiven: Heavenly Father, I acknowledge my sins before you. Please, have mercy and forgive all my sins. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness and write my name in the book of life. Lord Jesus, come into my life and be my Saviour now and forever (Amen).

If you have prayed the above prayer of repentance, take the following necessary steps:
1. Look for a Bible believing Church close to your residence, to be attending (Hebrews 10: 25).
2. Live a holy life (Hebrews 12: 14).
3. Study the word of God daily (2 Timothy 2: 15).
4. Be prayerful (1 Thessalonians 5: 17).
5. Be heavenly minded (Colossians 3: 2).
