Everything has an end. One thing’s certain: we won’t live on earth forever. Ecclesiastes 12:5 says, “Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets.”
Whether we like it or not, we’ll all die and leave this world someday. When we’re gone, everything about us ends – relationships, hustling, pride, arrogance, debates, selfishness, greed… everything. Then we face our Maker to give account of our lives.
Nobody knows when their time’s up, but we know it’ll happen. So, dear reader, be prepared.
